Charter & Captain Bio

Every once in a while, you meet someone whose passion for the water is so strong it practically hums off them, and for anglers on the East Coast, that person is Captain Nick Siciliano. Captain Nick has built a reputation as a diehard fisherman and the driving force behind Beast Coast Fishing Charters. Launching right here in the heart of coastal Volusia County, Beast Coast isn’t just another boat for hire; it’s a full-throttle experience fueled by adrenaline, precision, and an undeniable love for the ocean. Captain Nick’s story isn’t one of shortcuts or gimmicks; it’s built on years of putting in the work, learning the water, and chasing fish from the backcountry to the bluewater. When you talk to him, it becomes clear that this isn’t just a job.. it’s his element.

What really sets Captain Nick apart is the way he approaches the experience. For him, the best part of being a captain isn’t measured in fillets or bragging-board photos, but in the moments people take home with them. He talks about first fish, personal bests, and the look on a father’s face when his kid lands a keeper like they’re the true currency of the job. Those are the memories that keep him running full speed day after day, season after season. “I want people to walk off the boat tired, smiling, and already talking about the next trip,” and if you’ve ever met him at the dock, you know he means it. As Beast Coast continues to grow after 5 years in operation, Nick’s compass hasn’t shifted; he stays grounded in the reason he started: respect for the ocean, dedication to the craft, and genuine passion for fishing.

A huge part of what makes Beast Coast so effective is Nick’s versatility on the water. Ask him his favorite type of fishing and he’ll tell you simply: whatever’s biting best. He’s always looking for the biggest fish and the most action, never limiting himself to one species or one style because that’s not what keeps him sharp. Some captains pick a specialty, Captain Nick makes sure he's well versed in all. From offshore wahoo and mahi to inshore redfish, black drum, and snook, he prides himself on being able to do it all, and do it well. That’s what excites him: the ability to switch gears, read the conditions, and stay at the top no matter where the day takes him.

Beast Coast’s vessel is built with a purpose. His 24-foot Angler center console, completely rebuilt in 2023, was designed with one purpose: performance. Powered by a brand-new 150 HP Suzuki outboard, supported by an all-lithium system, and rigged with state-of-the-art electronics, this boat was engineered to work. Advanced fish finders, a spot-lock trolling motor, and custom rigging give Nick the ability to lock onto structure, hold position in tough conditions, and make the kind of precise adjustments that turn a decent day into an unforgettable one. “This boat is a fishing machine,” Captain Nick says. "It was built to get the job done.”

When you put it all together, the captain, the experience, the boat, the fishery — you start to understand why Beast Coast Fishing Charters has earned its place among the top operations on this stretch of coast. A trip with Captain Nick isn’t just a day on the water; it’s a full-scale adventure where versatility meets passion and the fish stories practically write themselves. Whether you’re chasing pelagics offshore, working tight structure inshore, or hunting whatever’s chewing the best that week, you’re in the hands of someone who truly lives for this.

Trips aboard Beast Coast Fishing Charters include 4/5/6/8-hour Inshore & Nearshore trips, and 4/6/8/10/12-hour Offshore trips — each one built for action, opportunity, and those moments you’ll be talking about long after you hit the dock.
